I highly recommend Loudoun Ideal Chiropractic. Dr. Miok and her staff, Nicole and Sam, are like family to me. They truly care about the patient’s wellbeing and comfort. This is the best chiropractic care I have ever received!!!

After experiencing limited and temporary success with taking my 82 year old mother, who has scoliosis and limited mobility due to several TIAs, to different back specialists for pain treatment and management solutions, my sister and I were at our wit’s end. Mom was suffering and we were running out of ideas. Knowing that I personally have had great success with acupuncture treatment for pain management, I began looking for an acupuncturist who had experience with treating patients with scoliosis. I reached out to Dr. Miok and I received a reply from her within an hour. I explained the issues that my mother was experiencing. Dr. Miok was very positive and confident that she could help treat my mother. She understood my concerns regarding mother's overall heath and discussed options for treatment. She explained every step and process that she would take in great detail. Our initial consultation with Dr. Miok was extremely thorough. She went over scans and treatment protocols with my sister and I and took the time to reiterate everything with my Father when he brought mother in for her first appointment. After mother’s first official appointment, Dr. Miok called me to go over the treatment protocol again and discussed her assessment of mom’s condition. The amount of attention she gives to her patients is outstanding. I also appreciate that she is very straightforward and honest about what her expectations are for her patients. She is always encouraging and truly cares about her patients and their family. Her staff is also outstanding. The office experience is also comfortable. My mother’s strength, mobility, and pain management has definitely improved since being treated by Dr. Miok. Finding Dr. Miok has been a blessing for my mother and for our family.

I had been receiving chiropractic care for several years before seeing Dr. Miok. She was the first chiropractor who actually started working on my spine to correct my posture. I didn’t even know that that was possible. I just thought I had to work on standing up straighter. For years I’ve known that I have really bad posture. I attribute it to being hunched over on the computer, several hours a day. My shoulders were so tight that I would get massages twice a month to help relax them and nothing worked. After working a few months with Dr. Miok, I actually feel that I’m standing taller and straighter more naturally and that my shoulders have relaxed. Before, I would have to put forth such a huge effort to stand up straight and I could only hold it for a few seconds. Now my body just goes there. I can see a huge difference in my old pictures versus new pictures. I went from hunched over to standing straight and tall. I feel empowered and so much better too! Afterall, how you stand in your life is how you stand in the world. Thank you Dr Miok!

I have been going to chiropractors on and off for many years. This is the first time that a chiropractor has actually worked on my overall spine health, to correct the issues, verses the spots that are bothering me directly. That approach definitely makes a huge difference in the way I feel.

About six months ago I was going through upper back pains when laying down, pain when coughing in my chest and back, and what seemed to be a reoccurrence of scoliosis in my arm and shoulder. My wife, Judy, had started seeing Dr. Miok for her issues and told me how much better she was feeling for the treatments and exercises recommended. Did my research. Liked what I read about Dr. Miok and her practice at Loudoun Ideal Chiropractic in Lansdowne, Virginia. Was looking for someone who was both a health care practitioner and who took a holistic approach to her chiropractor treatments. Met with her and her staff and came away impressed. But what really impressed me was how much better I felt after two weeks. Then how much better I felt after a month of three times a week visits. She reduced my pains and improved my functionality around the house, in the yard, on the bike, and at work. Before starting with her I had trouble sitting for a two hour ride in the car or lifting heavy items. That is all gone. Thank you Dr. Miok.

Dr. Miok provides a friendly, comfortable place in which to experience exercises, adjustments, traction, and massages designed for each person's issue. Pain has no home here but relief does. Dr. Miok's class for new patients was very helpful in understanding the spine and the reasons behind the various treatments. It's a positive environment with a caring Doctor who is very serious about correcting underlying causes of disfunction. I highly recommend her practice!

I drive from Vienna to Leesburg 3 days/week to participate in Dr. Miok's Posture program. The program is correcting my posture, increasing my energy and improving the cumulative wear and tear on my 74 year old body. The physical adjustments, constructive exercises and educational instructions continue to relax and energise me at each visit. The staff are professional and supportive. When I broke my wrist while running, it interrupted my progress in the Posture program, but expedited my recovery from the accident. Seeing the before and after films of my vertebrae absolutely indicate the changes realized. It's wonderful to have a provider who is so encouraging and pro-active about the status of my health.

Dr. Miok is helping me improve my posture. As an older woman I thought there was not much I could do to improve it, but Dr. Miok is very positive and has given me the skills and therapy to improve how I stand and sit. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with someone who never thinks a person is "too old" to make changes.

Dr. Miok is an amazing chiropractor. Appointments with her are like an adjustment and therapy session rolled into one. She is generous, kind, a great listener, and she cares not just about pain management but about spine rehabilitation. She is forever continuing her education by going to conferences and seminars to bring the latest knowledge to her patients. Her touch is swift, firm, gentle, and healing all at the same time. I feel better physically and emotionally after I see her.

I have been to several chiropractors but none can compare to Dr. Miok! Her new clinic is state of the art but more importantly, Dr. Miok is highly trained in her profession and really cares. She takes her time and explains her techniques. I have made significant progress in a very short time and look forward to a full recovery from the hip replacement surgery I had several years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Miok to anyone who is experiencing pain or discomfort and wants to feel energetic and healthy again.

I've been a patient of Dr. Miok's for 4 years and I will never go to anyone else. She is always on the forefront of new technology and research to improve her treatment approach.
